Good morning & Happy Sunday! My typical weekend morning often includes sleeping in as late as my dog will let me (lol) and taking the time to have a nice, fulfilling breakfast that I don’t normally have time to make on a work morning. Today I decided to make a breakfast sandwich.
I haven’t always been an egg eater, but when I learned to like eggs I realized that my menu options for McDonald’s breakfast had widely expanded. I fell quickly in love with the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. But like all great loves, sometimes you need to let it go in order to see if it will come back.
Not all love stories end this happily, but in this case I got lucky! My favorite breakfast sandwich came back to me as a 6 point recreation that I can make at home. Here are the ingredients I used:
2 eggs, scrambled – 0 pts
1 slice of Sargento thin marble jack cheese – 2 pts
1 Thomas thin sliced bagel – 3 pts
