The Bible S Tare And Blind Spot

by Steven Iruthaya, The Bible S Tare And Blind Spot Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download The Bible S Tare And Blind Spot books, For many of us, theology, rather than the Bible itself, comprises our knowledge of God. This knowledge, however, is a gift from the Holy Spirit. In order to find it, we must allow the Holy Spirit to direct us when we read the Bible instead of relying upon theologians interpretations. The Bibles Tare and Blind Spot takes a hard look at the diverse, complex, and sometimes incompatible beliefs of various Christian groups. Author Steven Iruthaya shares how portions of the Church have misrepresented and misapplied the teachings in the Scriptures over the past two thousand years. Through analysis, he contends that religious leaders have agendas that they do not always make clear. Iruthaya raises a number of significant issues that have caused discussions and controversies throughout the history of the church. He briefly explores early, middle, and modern Christianitys doctrines and then focuses on pertinent topics such as the Holy Spirit, the life of Jesus, the Ten Commandments, and more. His conclusions are challenging and, for some, perhaps provocative. An informative treatise on Christianity, The Bibles Tare and Blind Spot calls Christians to challenge their long-held assumptions and, in doing so, find greater faith.

by John Berchmans Barla, Christian Theological Understanding Of Other Religions According To D S Amalorpavadass Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Christian Theological Understanding Of Other Religions According To D S Amalorpavadass books, This book tries to give a theological answer to the question of religious pluralism, that is, the theological problem of the relation of other religions to Christianity, according to Amalorpavadass. Amalor sees other religions as God's providential ways of salvation. God desires the salvation of all peoples with their religions and cultures. There is only one salvation history, centered in Christ Jesus, the word become flesh. The Church, sacrament of universal salvation, is sent out in the world to call all peoples to their unity in God through Christ, to proclaim to the world, in sincere dialogue and collaboration with others, the on-going revelation of God in Christ and its on-going actualization in history.

Download Church Government According To The Bible books, Just as the government structure of Russia differs from that of the United States, and both differ from that of Great Britain, so it is with church government. Yet, as the institution governed by God's written word, the church must find and defend its governing structures using that word--the Bible. In this book, Dr. Simon Goncharenko argues that it is, in fact, possible to identify a specific preferred model of church polity within the Bible and to model our current church structure after Scriptural precedent.

Shaping The Society Christianity And Culture

by Pastor Stephen Kyeyune, Shaping The Society Christianity And Culture Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download Shaping The Society Christianity And Culture books, African theology involves theology that reflects the original thinking of African people. Many African have expressed a need for the theology that reflects the original thinking of African peoples. Some theologians have recklessly labeled every aspect of African culture to be evil whereas others have expressed contempt regarding Christianity wrapped in Europeans culture. Having stayed away from my culture for more than twenty years, I have encountered several cultural shocks. My personal experience has induced me to invest time into intensive researching on the issue of culture and Christianity in anticipation to help somebody puzzled and drowned in confusion. I mean somebody who will not draw a diving line between the two aspects of lives. Within every cultural background setting, there is a godly culture that is not in conflict with Christianity. The culture of man apart from God equals to corruption. God created culture and He sent His Son to restore and to preserve the moral values of the cultures. The godly culture of man should therefore not be in conflict with the culture of the Bible. This topic has been produced in a series of teachings in different volumes of books for deeper clarification. I advise you to read all of the series available for your spiritual growth. Pastor Stephen Kyeyune

by Paul C. McGlasson, No Books available in PDF, EPUB, Mobi Format. Download No books, Sometimes theological ideas are good topics for ongoing debate. Other times, the community of faith needs to come to a decision: yes or no. Christian Reconstructionism offers the Christian church a basic approach to faith different from mainstream historic Christianity. Is their approach warranted? Or is it a fundamental distortion of the gospel? The present volume seeks to set out the case that Christian Reconstructionism is not a legitimate variation of Christian doctrine, but rather a serious misunderstanding of the gospel attested in Holy Scripture. First, an attempt is made to look at the basic ideas of Christian Reconstructionism. Rather than focusing on names and dates, the focus is on the set of ideas that characterize this view of Christianity. Second, a response is given to each of the main ideas. The response makes use of traditional Protestant, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox doctrine; but it is based primarily on careful exegesis of Scripture. The ultimate question is if Christian Reconstructionism is grounded in the Bible, or in a political ideology foreign to Scripture. An epilogue briefly points to a different way of seeing Christian involvement in contemporary, global society.
