Truth Never Dies books, Truth Never Dies Book Description Many years have passed since I wrote about the Lockerbie Bombing, the most vicious International terrorist attack on Americans before 9/11. Over the years, I thought long and hard whether I should make public the story of my personal life during that time. After all, it could backfire and cause me serious repercussions. And then, something happened in my life that convinced me to tell my story. I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable blood cancer and I realized then that if my story is to be told, I must tell it now. I want to be clear that this is my story and not the story of Lockerbie. My story doesn't pivot on “Who done it," but rather it focuses on the abuse of state power in which the CIA, FBI, IRS and federal judiciary all conspired to prevent me from helping resolve the dispute between the U. S. and Libya, and tried to blackmail me, a private American citizen, into participating in a state sponsored assassination. And what happened when I refused? My shocking real life story describes what these feared institutions working together, did to punish me and my family. My refusal resulted in personal embarrassment, financial ruin, criminal charges, and incarceration in Federal prison. Destroying my credibility and reputation in this matter became a goal at the highest levels of the Federal Government. I watched my life go from being at the top of my game, one of the most visible and successful Lobbyists in Washington DC., and from Foreign Agent 4221 to federal inmate 42938-083. My wife and I fought the good fight against all odds. We were decidedly outnumbered, vastly over-spent, and greatly out-gunned. Through it all, and with God's special blessings, our love and support for each other grew stronger. We know firsthand what President Gerald Ford meant when he said, “A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have away.” This book is not about payback; it is not about anger and resentment. It tells the truth about the unjust persecution I suffered at the hands of the U.S. Government. I fully expect that the Government will deny what I have said, but now that my story has been written, I am confident that it will never die, because Truth Never Dies. William C. Chasey, Ph.D.
